Delivery charges

All orders  to UK addresses are sent 2nd class post.

Due to the new rules you can expect long delays on orders to Europe.

We strongly recommend that orders to Europe are sent using tracking.

United Kingdom

  • Up  to £14.99 is £2.00
  • £15 to £44.99 is £3.00
  • £45 to £74.99 is £4.00
  • £75 to £99.99 is £5.00
  • £100 and over is £6.00 with a tracking number

Outside UK Standard as specified by Royal Mail:

  • Up  to £14.99 is £5.50
  • £15 to £44.99 is £9.00
  • £45 to £74.99 is £16.00 with a tracking number
  • £75 to £99.99 is £18.00 with a tracking number
  • £100 and over is £20.00 with a tracking number

Outside UK Tracked:

  • Up  to £14.99 is  £9.00 with a tracking number
  • £15 to £44.99 is £13.00 with a tracking number
  • £45 to £74.99  is £1.00 with a tracking number
  • £75 to £99.99  is £18.00 with a tracking number
  • £100 and over is £20.00 with a tracking number


We accept payment in POUND STERLING ONLY ( GB Pounds). Payment is through PayPal, cheque or online Banking only. Cheque must be drawn on a UK Bank. Please note we are unable to process payment over the phone.


We aim to despatch all orders within 14 days. However as we rely on getting the stock in from Europe there can be longer delays due to customs. Your order will be posted as soon as possible.

If the delay is unacceptable to you then you have the right to cancel the order with a full refund.

We can't control the length of time it takes from posting your order to you receive it, especially for orders outside UK. It is not unusual for orders to take 4 weeks to arrive - even with tracking.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your order at any time prior to the order being marked as 'Completed'.  Go to 'My Account' and log in.  You can then open all of your orders using the button on the left hand side and cancel the order.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it to us in its original condition within 30 days and we will refund you in full. Please do supply us with your name, address and reason for the return IN ADVANCE OF RETURNING THE ITEM(S). For overseas returns please contact us first. We cannot be held responsible for items returned and lost in transit. Please obtain either a certificate of posting from Post Office or use recorded delivery service.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share financial details with any 3rd parties

All our customer records are kept on a secure and separate computer system and under no circumstances will any information be divulged to any third party. We collect information specifically relating to your order only at the time of ordering or registering as a new customer. This information is collected by the use of cookies, therefore cookies must be enabled on your browser to enable the ordering process to function correctly. Cookies are used for the information of Danish Handcraft Guild only and only for order processing purposes. We will use your details for fraud prevention purposes. We will check your details with fraud prevention agencies and if you give us false or inaccurate information and we suspect fraud, we will record this. All personal information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
